April 2021 TBR

Another month, another TBR post. This will probably be the last one for a while, as my small human is due to arrive next month and I think I’ll have other priorities! I’m super excited to meet the little one, and to see how life needs to adjust around them. In the meantime April will be the month in which I panic and try to read as many books as possible. I’ve made a small physical TBR because more than anything I’d like to get through all my Netgalley reads so that they don’t start backing up during the next few months. So without boring you any further with my rambling, here are April’s top of the TBR books.

The Loop by Ben Oliver

I’m on a blog tour for The Block which published on the 1st of April, and so first I need to catch up with the story so far. I’ve actually started reading this one already, and loving it, so keep an eye out for a review coming soon! So far it has high-tech Hunger Games feels, and I’m excited to see where it’s going!

The Block by Ben Oliver

I guess I pretty much already explained this one. The sequel to The Loop, my blog tour stop will be the 6th April, so I very much need to crack on with reading these two beauties!

Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu

Moxie is one of those books thats been on my radar pretty much since I started my bookstagram a few years back. I’d not got around to picking up a copy so I was super excited to receive a surprise copy from the publishers as part of the celebrations for the movies release. I really want to watch the movie, but I’m forcing myself to read the book first, so I’m hoping to read this one asap!

The Girl and the Mountain by Mark Lawrence

It’s no secret at all that I adored the first book in the Book of Ice series, you can read my thoughts here. Mark very kindly sent me a copy of book two and I seriously can’t wait to find out what happens next to Yaz and the gang. I’ve never before read a series quite like this one, so I am expecting big things from book two!!

The In-Between by Rebecca Ansari

Every month I try to read last months Owlcrate Jr book, and this month is no exception. I’m really intrigued to read this one, the name and the colours of the exclusive cover give me Stranger Things vibes, and seeings as thats one of my favourite things, I can’t wait to see what this one is about!

So those are the main 5 books I’ll be trying to read, and then I think I’m down to 7 Netgalley reads. What about you, what is on your list this month? Have you read any of these books? Happy Reading!
