Sophie is off to meet her friends, when her bunch of balloons blows away. Can her animal friends help her to find them all?
My Review
I love board books, we’ve reached the point where The Small One wants to grab at everything, and board books can’t be ripped! A lot of the books we own, have just a few words on each page and are getting a bit repetitive. I love that Sophie and Friends has a little story, which as the adult, just makes it a little more interesting to read aloud. I also really like that this is a book that can grow with your child. There is more that can talked about, and questions that can be answered as they are older and able to communicate/learn and understand what colours are etc.
Sophie is no doubt a household name for most with teething infants, so this is potentially a lovely way to tie together reading with a toy they already own. Bright and colourful, this would make a lovely Christmas gift for babies and toddlers alike, and has become an instant favourite in our house!

Small One’s Review
The Small One is 7 months, so obviously can’t yet tell me what he actually thinks. But he was really excited about this book, and the bright colours. He really liked the tabs as it made it much easier for him to turn the pages. He’s normally pretty quick to get bored of anything that I wont let him chew, so it was nice to find a book that held his attention for a little while. Reading between the lines, it was a big hit with him!

I was kindly gifted a copy, but all thoughts are my own. Big thanks to the publisher for sending us the book!
